Whether your nonprofit has one employee or 50, getting HR right has become a critical component of success.

Effective human resources management includes making sure the right people are in the right roles, avoiding legal challenges, developing the next generation of leaders, and helping the organization survive and grow through change. This workshop explores these critical components of human resources and provides practical approaches for nonprofits of any size or developmental stage, but is especially geared for those with 100 staff or fewer.

PresenterJanis Von Culin is a consultant and advisor to senior management on human resources and organizational effectiveness. Founder of Von Culin Associates, she works closely with line and staff leaders in both nonprofit and for-profit organizations. Ms. Von Culin is often called in to provide guidance on handling major changes such as significant growth or reorganizations, and to serve as a source of practical HR expertise on complex issues.

Prior to establishing Von Culin Associates in 1997, Ms. Von Culin was a senior human resources leader in the corporate sector.  She holds a masters degree in psychology from California State University, Los Angeles.
